| Description | This photographic portrait depicts Georg Bidstrup in his office at the John C. Campbell Folk School in 1952. Bidstrup became director of the Folk School in 1952, however, he had been farm manager and a central figure at the school since 1926. Bidstrup also served as the folk dance instructor. Bidstrup married the school's assistant director and treasurer, Marguerite Butler, in 1936. |
