DescriptionThis document was the result of a community meeting held on September 30, 1925 to assess the local support for organizing a folk school near Brasstown, N.C. The report consists of 11 questions that reflect the community's understanding and desire for such a school, the number of families interested and type of support they will provide, recommendations for location and land need to start the school. It also lists the business and community leaders willing to form a committee "to make the proposed school a success." The document is signed by chairman Fred O Scroggs and secretary Carrie Clayton.
