President

Piedmont
College
1904-1906.
The
Campbell's
married
in
1907
and
lived
in
Demorest
until
their
work
with the
Russell
Sage
Foundation
of
Asheville
took
them to
many
locations
,
particularly
throughout
the
southern
Appalachians.
After
John's
death
in
1919
,
Olive
Dame
Campbell
established
the
John
C.
Campbell
Folk
School
in
Brasstown
,
N.C.
which
was
named
in his
honor.
