Description	This photographic portrait of Frances Goodrich was taken in 1940 by Howard Studio in Asheville, North Carolina. Goodrich would have been 84 years old at that time. While she was no longer working directly craft artists, she continued to keep in close touch with the members of the Southern Highland Handicraft Guild. Goodrich died in 1944.
