Description	This photographic postcard depicts the Edward F. Worst Craft House during the summer of 1935. The structure was built on land owned by Lucy Morgan and later deeded to Penland School of Handicrafts (now Penland School of Crafts). The building, named after Penland's first weaving instructor, was erected during a community log-raising held May 1935 and put to use during that summer's Weaving Institute even though the structure was far from being completed. The photograph for this postcard was taken by Bayard Wootten during the 1935 Institute as evidenced by the looms on the porch and the absence of windows and chinking between the logs.
