Description	This undated photograph by an unknown photographer shows the exterior of the wood working shop at Cherokee High School. While many Cherokee carvers got their start carving at home under the guidance of an older family member, many then refined their craft here in a more formal educational setting. Cherokee students had the opportunity to learn from such renowned wood carvers as Amanda Crowe and Goingback Chiltoskey in woodworking classes at the high school.
