Description	This sound recording is an excerpt from an interview with Olive Dame Campbell and features her singing the ballad Barbry Ellen (also know as Barbry Allen, Barbara Allen, and other names). Campbell was an avid folk song collector. She describes how she learned the ballad from a woman who accompanied herself on a banjo. George Armstrong conducted the interview in the early 1980s.
