Description	This is an early booklet, telling the story of the work done by Eleanor Vance and Charlotte Yale. It describes their background in arts and crafts work, their arrival in Asheville, North Carolina to work with the Biltmore Estate Industries in 1901, and their move to Tryon, N.C. in 1915 where they established the Tryon Toy-Makers and Wood-Carvers. Here they instructed young people in woodworking and used the sales of toys and other decorative pieces to support the business. The booklet describes item available for order and displays the shop insignia: two galax leaves above a toy tree.
